Diuretics

Diuretic: stimulates urination

Diuretics promote diuresis, which is increased production of urine. All diuretics increase the excretion of water from the body via the kidneys.

Aquaretics promote aquaresis, which is the excretion of water without electrolyte loss. Both increase urinary volume, decreasing water retention and preventing edema.
