“Live life to the fullest” was the mentality her immigrant parents instilled in her since childhood. Growing up, she enjoyed competing nationally in art, dance, and piano. As a native of DeRidder, she served as class president in student council for multiple years, fundraising for local charities and volunteering at Beauregard Memorial Hospital. Her heart for service developed into a love for helping people in its purest form: prioritizing their health. She continued to volunteer at Baton Rouge General and Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, shadowing physicians, and worked at two dental offices while she was a triple major at LSU. Getting on the Dean’s List, she maintained a non-stop, year-round schedule, securing dean approval to carry over 20 credits per semester to graduate on time. She loved the balance of studying the arts, sciences, and literature. She earned a BA in British Literature and Creative Writing, with minors in Biology and Painting/Drawing.
Despite her dental school interviews, she discovered naturopathic medicine while she was on the West Coast. What could be best described as a calling, she applied to Bastyr University (Seattle, WA), America’s top naturopathic medical school, focusing on holistic and alternative modalities for primary care physicians. She received advanced training in IV therapy while she pursued her Certificate of Classical Homeopathy through the New England School of Homeopathy.
She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. While studying for boards, she worked as a Rehab Specialist at a chiropractic clinic for 2 years and was also an MCAT Instructor at The Princeton Review in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Seattle for 8 years. She was honored with the Top MCAT Teacher Award in 2010 in the USA and Canada.
She completed her residency at Bastyr Center for Natural Health and internships at multiple clinics throughout Washington state. After living in Seattle for 7 years, she decided to serve the greater Baton Rouge area by opening up her own private practice.
As a board-certified, Washington State-licensed Naturopathic Physician practicing in her home state of Louisiana, she has been voted Best Doctor in The Advocate’s Best of Baton Rouge 2025 - Gold Winner, Best Alternative Therapies in The Advocate’s Best of Baton Rouge 2026, and voted Favorite Holistic Medicine Provider Runner-Up in The Baton Rouge Parents Magazine - Family Favorites 2025.
Dr. Sola is passionate about deeply understanding her patients’ journey towards healing. She understands that while conventional medicine is necessary, naturopathic medicine is missing in Louisiana. As a primary care physician, she helps patients navigate tough medical decisions and safely transition off pharmaceuticals. Offering her expertise in botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, and counseling, she enjoys educating patients of all ages, evaluating their bloodwork, and formulating personalized herbal blends after spending time getting to know her patients and their goals. Most of all, she encourages her patients to live their lives to the fullest.
She is a member of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP) and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).
In her personal life, she enjoys being a Superhost on Airbnb, traveling with her family, serving the Lord by singing in her church choir, cooking with her husband, and being silly and playful with their young son.
